The only way to get anywhere in life is through failure — but not just any kind of failure; it has to be a failure that allows you to learn from it and move forward. Otherwise, you’re just wasting time and energy doing things wrong rather than making progress toward your goals.
Failure is an option. It’s the best way to learn and improve. It’s even better if you fail fast, fail cheap, and fail with grace.

This does not mean that you should try to avoid failure by doing anything at all. The goal is to learn from your mistakes and keep moving forward until you reach your goals. If you fail at something repeatedly, don’t give up; instead, make sure that when you do try again, it will be a better effort than what came before.
